CARYN I. ANDERSON, APR

Caryn I. Anderson, APR is a culturally fluent, interdisciplinary marketing and communications leader who helps social impact organizations and purpose-driven brands move people to act.

For more than a decade, she’s studied what sparks stakeholder action — around social causes, advocacy issues, and mass public efforts. As principal consultant and founder of stakeholderbrand co., Caryn partners with nonprofit and social impact leaders to elevate organizational influence through brand strategy, storytelling, and public relations that drive meaningful engagement. She also helps consumer brands center purpose in their business and show up authentically in the communities they serve.

Caryn serves on the faculty of the Georgia Center for Nonprofits/Nonprofit University, where she facilitates courses on nonprofit marketing and communications.

Before founding stakeholderbrand co., Caryn spent more than 20 years leading brand communication and audience engagement strategy for government agencies, major corporations, and global nonprofits — including as Senior Vice President of Marketing Communications at Operation HOPE.

She is a graduate of Boston College’s Center for Corporate Citizenship (Nonprofit Leadership Program), Gonzaga University (M.A. in Communication Management and Leadership), and Clark Atlanta University (B.A. in Mass Media Arts, Journalism concentration). She also holds the Accredited in Public Relations (APR) credential.

Caryn has been recognized for her strategic and creative contributions by organizations including AdAge Collective and the Public Relations Society of America, and for launching campaigns that enhance brand value, amplify awareness, and build public trust.
